About to embark on an enterprise content management project and haven’t yet chosen which product to use?  You are in luck because I have compiled a handy decision tree to help you decide.  This is version 1.0, hopefully domain-experts in Drupal and Joomla can help me flesh this out a little more.  I’ll also probably make a version based on the feature set of Sharepoint 2010 at some point.

Nice flowchart Gerald! If you haven’t stumbled upon the CMS Matrix website here is the link: http://www.cmsmatrix.org/. This will definitely help add/enhance your workflow. Any plans for making this into an interactive decision-making engine? Good luck!

HI Guys, great piece. Can anyone have done any comparison between Sharepoint 2010 and Drupal from 6 above?

    Thanks

As much as I hate working with SharePoint sometimes, I have to say that this is not totally accurate. There are many shared hosting packages for SP at 15/mo+. It is good with document management and integration with MSFT apps. Now if you talk about customizing and putting out clean pages, SP2010 still is a mess in that area.. I have worked with MySQL, PHP, WordPress (which I love). Looking forward to learning more about Drupal and Joomla. Thanks

It seems you are very biased against MS products. Your arguments start with money in mind, which is no longer accurate these days. Sorry for such a badly produced flowchart.
